03Options flow
Where the money went
The Flow page showed 202 large trades; 103 had a clear direction, worth $555.4M. Bullish share was 26%, below the typical 56% (the median of the last 20 sessions on file).

What stood out
The largest single trade was in SPX: sold 2,000 $7,000 calls expiring March 19, 2027, a bearish print worth $176.3M, 43% of all bearish money. Without it the day was 38% bullish. It looks like closing an older position.
By sector
Net directional premium by sector (bullish minus bearish); bar length is the size of the net.
“Bought” means a trade printed at the ask and “sold” at the bid. We cannot see who is on the other side or why a trade was placed, so read these as activity, not as a call on direction.

09One thing to learn
A short lesson
Opening and closing prints
A large options trade can open a new position or close an old one, and the two mean different things. We call a print opening-looking when its size is large against the open interest or the day's volume has passed it. Closing-looking prints tell you less about what traders expect next, which is why the Big Bet only counts new positions.
